More Morphology Magic continues the method from Morphology Magic. Students learn to convert 1 root word into 6 and 6 words into 48 within a week or two by adding suffixes to each root. Changing the suffix enables the new word to shift from verb to noun to adjective and/or adverb. More Morphology Magic builds words with a new set of Latin and Greek roots and prefixes to quickly increase vocabulary knowledge and to boost academic success.

• Since most people comprehend at the level of their vocabulary, learning new words increases listening and reading comprehension. 

• Students who know how to recognize the meaning of a root word enclosed by prefixes and/or suffixes will not be fooled by affixes. Some students fail to recognize that the words exclusion and exclusive derive from the Latin root CLUDE meaning SHUT, with the prefix EX, meaning OUT, with the suffix SION for a noun and IVE for an adjective.

• By learning to change the verb form of a root into adjectives, nouns, and/or adverbs, a person gains a better understanding of syntax. The ability to direct a word’s function creates lively, effective sentences.
